241. Bill to repeal an Act to prevent frauds in the inspection of fish (reported by the Joint Select Committee to which was referred an order of the 14th of January last relative to the inspection of Butter, Lard and Mackerel) was read once and Thursday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve authorizing the Land Agent to settle certain claims for public Lands (reported by Mr. Fish, from the Committee on State Lands, on petition of Samuel Dow, Resolve for the erection of a Gunhouse in Norridgewock (laid on the table by Greene of York) severally read once and tomorrow at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve authorizing the appointment of Auditors to investigate the unsettled accounts of Lottery Managers was taken up and Wednesday next at ten o'clock assigned for a second reading.

On motion of Mr. McLellan, Ordered, that, when the Senate adjourn, they adjourn till tomorrow morning nine o'clock, and that shall be the hour of adjournment till otherwise ordered.

Bill to set off a part of Starks and annex the same to Mercer (reported as correctly engrossed by the Committee on Engrossed Bills, on the 24th of February last and laid on the table) was, on motion of Mr. Clark, taken up and the same was passed to be enacted.
