�March. Wednesday, 11. 1863

Went out on Picket guard this morning. it rained last night some. but the weather has been pretty good to day.

Thursday, 12.

Come off from Picket this mo-rning at 9 oclock. moved our Camp this morning. down abought one mile. near the Landing. went to work and built us some more quarters. I had to go on Picket guard again to night.

Friday, 13.

I was relieved from Picket this morning at 8 oclock. cam in to camp and was in qua-ters the rest of the Day. received a letter from home this morning and a receipt for a box. sent by Express.

March, Saturday, 14. 1863

In Camp to day. and the weather has been pretty cold. nothing has taken place to day.

Sunday, 15.

we had an Inspectien of Arms this morning at 10 oclock. and a Mounted drill. the weather is pretty chilly to day

Monday, 16.

on Picket guard again today. The weather was pretty cool. nothing new.
