Bill to establish a municipal Court in the town of Augusta (introduced in the House) was read once and referred to the Committee on the Judiciary in concurrence.

Mr. Greene, from the Joint Select Committee to which was referred an order of the 18th January last relative to the State printing, reported that said Committee had contracted with William R. Smith and George Robinson to perform said printing, agreeably to an obligation submitted - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Petition of William Martin and others praying to be incorporated by the name of the Newport Mill Dam Company - read and referred to the Committee on Interior Waters. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

Mr. Miller, from the Committee on Interior Waters, to which was recommitted "Bill to incorporate the Vassalborough and Sidney Dam Company," reported reference to next Legislature - read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

A message was received, informing the Senate, that the House had reconsidered their vote passing to be engrossed "Bill to establish the Frankfort, Bangor and Belfast Rail Road Corporation," amended the same by adding at the end of the 14th section the words, the same, and had ordered the same reengrossed, and requesting the concurrence of the Senate. The Senate reconsider their vote whereby they passed said Bill to be engrossed, adopt the amendment proposed by the House & order the same reengrossed as amended in concurrence.
