am not well nor do I think I shall be soon I past [sp: passed] the board of examination twice ordered to be discharged my papers commenced but on accounf of my descriptive it was not finished and while I was waiting for that to come the papers got lost so I am sent round from one to an other so that every Doctor in the survis [sp: service] can try some new way on me still they fo not help me any that I can see, I dun [sp: done] my duty faithfully while I could but I should like now to be when my folks could come to see me if nothing more for the doctor here seams [sp: seems] determined to keep me here till spring now if I have got to stay in the
