The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed Bill to provide for the expenditures of the Government and the same was passed to be enacted

The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed Resolve in favor of the town of Alexander, providing for Dockets for the use of the Legislature relating to the election of President and Vice president and Vice President, on the Pay Roll of the Senate on the Pay Roll of the House of Representatives Preamble and Resolutions instructing our Senators and Representatives in Congress in relation to fortifications, and the same were severally finally passed

Order from the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Holmes of Alfred, Tobin of Hartford, Foster of Pembroke, Gordon of Belfast and Adams of Lincoln and Committee, with such as the Senate may join, to inform the Governor that the two Houses have passed upon all the business before them, and if he has nothing more to communicate, they are ready to adjourn without day read and passed, and Messrs, Clark, Benson and Fish are joined in concurrence

 Which Committee, having attended to the duties assigned them, reported that the Governor was pleased to say, that he would forthwith communicate by message through the Secretary of State to both branches of the Legislature, and after that he had no further communication to make.
