�i have got almost up to two hundred i only lack seven pounds of it Thomas was down and took dinner with me yesterday he looks quite smart the new recruits are a comencing to have the diarear sum of them have it quite bad. we live very well now i feel very anxious about a maile we have not had one for three weeks it seems as tho it had been twelve we have very favorable news in regard to the army i hope and trust that this war will close before another new year Ii Will close by wishing you good luck and health give my love to all write soon
