[Report on petition of Elijah Johnson & al.] Committee on petition of Elijah Johnston and others-- report an Order of notice. In Senate June 23d 1820 Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence Read and concurred.

[Bill-- Enacted] Committee on Engrossed Bills report as duly engrossed-- Bill entitled "an Act making further provisions as respects ["in the" struck out] Banks in this State" which passed to be enacted.

[Committee-- on compensation to the Clerks of the different departments &c &c] Ordered, that Messrs Redington of Vassalboro' Smith of Wiscasset and Morrill of Biddeford be a committee to consider what sums shall be paid to the Clerks of the Secretary of State, Treasurer and Adjutant General of this State, as a compensation for their services with leave to report by bill or otherwise.
