Committee - on promulgation of Laws. + — On motion of Mr Adams of Portland, Ordered[underlined], That Messrs Adams of Portland, Sands of Lyman + Earnes of Clinton with such as the Senate may join be a committee to consider + report in what manner the Laws + Resolves passed the pres-ent session of the Legislature shall be promulgated with leave to report by Bill or otherwise — read and passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Petitions[underlined] - John Rockwood — Saml McLellan Petitions[underlined] — of John Rockwood and another that the doings of Belgrade may be legalized — of Samuel McLellan, Jan[above] that his marriage with Elzia Jones may be declared null and void on account of her incontinence before marriage — were severally read and referred to the committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence.

Remonstrance - of Scarboro. Remonstrance[underlined] of Selectmen of the town of Scarboro against the incorporation of a town by the name of Albion — read and referred to the committee on the incorporation of Towns. Sent up for concurrence.
