Petition of William Buxton and an other committee of Cumberland, for an amendment of the law providing for the education of youth - read and referred to Messrs Emery of Biddeford, Kendall of Hope and Weymouth of Belmont with such as the Senate may join. Sent up for concurrence.

[Petition of Isaac Smith & al] Petition of Isaac Smith & others of Harmony for leave to sell ministerial lands &c - read and referred to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes and other religious Societies and Ministerial School Lands. Sent up for concurrence.

[Bill - School fund in Freeman] Bill to establish a fund for the support of schools in the town of Freeman - read a 1st & 2nd time and assigned for a 3d reading at 10 oclock tomorrow -

[Report - on pet. of Peter West Jr.] The committee on the petition of Peter West Junior reported leave to bring in a bill - The report accepted in the Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Bill - to annex lot no. 29 in Starks to Industry] Bill to annex that part of lot numbered 29, which lies in the northwest corner of Starks, to the town of Industry - read a 1st and 2nd time and assigned for a third reading at 10 oclock tomorrow.
