[Report on Receipts & expenditures accepted] The House resumed the consideration of the report of the committee to whom was referred the statement of receipts & expenditures of the Treasury for the political years 1820-21- and accepted the same in concurrence with the Senate.

[Committee — right of road] On motion of Mr Fitch of Baldwin Ordered, that Messrs Fitch of Baldwin, Richardson of Jefferson and Smith of Readfield be a committee to consider the expediency of passing a law regulating the right of the road with leave to report by bill or otherwise — read and passed.

[Petition - of Gardiner Brown & others] Petition of Gardiner Brown & others of Bath for the passage of a law to regulate the picking up of logs & other drift stuff in Kennebec River — read and referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals Sent up for concurrence.

[Pet. of John Wyllie — John Leathers] Petitions of John Wyllie of John Leathers for an alteration of their names — were severally read and referred to the committee on change of names.

[Petition — Bennet Pike & Luther Richardson] [—Noah Morill—] Petitions of Bennet Pike & Luther Richardson Esqs to be reimbursed certain fees paid by them to the State Treasurer on being admitted as Attorneys — of Noah Morrill for a new trials in certain cases specially stated in his petition — were severally read & referred to the Committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence.
