[Message of Governor] Message from the Governor, [Penobscot Indians] To the Senate and House of Representatives I have received from the agents of the Penobscot tribe of Indians a communication suggesting sundry grievances which, in their opinion ought to be remedied, which communication I submit to the Legislature for their consideration. The agents, together with the Lieutenant Governor of the tribe being now at the seat of government will give such a particular information as will enable the Legislature more fully to understand the extent of their grievances & the practicability of providing a remedy. I also lay before the two Houses the account of the said agents for services performed in the execution of their trust. Albion K Parris. Council Chamber January 21 1822
