We the undersigned hearing that there is to be an effort made to remove Seth Smith from the office of Indian Agent wish to aid in bringing about that result. During the past year he has employed C. T. Davis the former Agent to do business connected with the Agency that might and ought to have been done by some Republican resident of the Town.

We cordially unite in recommending Isaac Bearse of Meddybumps as his successor to that office
