Pet. of Selectmen of Joy Petition[underlined] of the Selectmen of Joy that the doings of said town may be made valid — was read an dreferred to the committee on New Trials. Sent up for concurrence
Bill - additional - Butter + Hogs Lard Bill entitled an additional act to ascertain the quality of Butter and Hogs lard and for the more effectual inspection of the same — was ordered to lie on the table without being read.
Report on pet. of Thos. Patten The committee on the petition of Thomas Patten to be set off from Newburg in Penobscot County and annexed to Hampden - reported an order of notice. The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence + the House concurred.
Pet. of Stephen Heald + An order came from the Senate recommitting the petition of Stephen Heald + others of Lovell on which notice was ordered 18th inst. to the committee on the the incorporation of parishes and other relig-ious Societies and ministerial and school lands for the concurrence of the House — and the House concurred.
Report on pet. of James Ricker + als The committee on the petition of James Ricker and others in behalf of Hartford for leave to sell the School lands in said town — reported a Bill. The report - accepted in Senate came down for concur-rence and the House concurred.
