[Committee - amendment of Constitution]

Ordered, That Messrs Stebbins, Holland[,] Read of Strong, Emery, Nourse, Redington, Hobbs, Hall of Frankfort & Emerson be a Committee consider whether it is expedient for the Legislature to propose an amendment of the 2nd and 3d Sections of the first part of the fourth Article of the Constitution of this State with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise. Read and passed.

[Resolve - to pay Commrs under act of Separation]

Resolve allowing compensation to the Commissioners under the Act of Separation to divide the public property held in common by Massachusetts and Maine: being reported without amendment. Read a second time and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Adjourned to 1/2 past 8 oclock on Monday morning next.
