[page 620] Q. Or, in anyway modify that? A. No, sir I didn't. Q. Did you ever make any report? A. Will you allow me one moment? Q. Certainly. A. The object of that Committee was to investigate the affairs of the treasurer which we investigated and had some conference with the trustees and he was discharged. That was our objective point. The things I objected to were in relation to some other officers of the institution not connected directly with the institution. Q. Was there any thing in that report concerning Dr. Harlow? A. No, sir Q. That was objected to? A. No, sir, there was not. Q. Did you ever make any report to the Council after your investigation, in any way shape or manner directly or indirectly implicating or reflecting on Dr. Harlow? A. No, sir, I didn't. Q. As an official member of that Council whose duty it was to investigate, did you ever make any charge directly or indirectly implicating Dr. Harlow with that defalcation, or ^in any knowledge of that defalcation? A. I talked over with Dr. Harlow himself.
