[Resolve] Resolve appropriating money for the payment of the engrossing Clerks - Sent down for concurrence - and a Resolve in favour of Daniel Wilkins - in concurrence with the House - [Bills] Bill establishing and regulating the fees of certain officers therein named was read twice and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the House. - Bill to prevent the destruction of Fish in Penobscot river was, in concurrence with the House, referred to the next Legislature -

Bill in addition to an Act establishing the salaries of certain officers came up from the House non concurred as to a reference thereof to the next Legislature - Read and the Senate insist on their former vote - Sent down -

[Petition referred] On motion by Mr Wheeler - Ordered that the petition of Daniel Barrett be taken from the files of the Senate and laid on the table - the petition, together with the papers relating thereto were then Ordered to be referred to the next Legislature -

[Message from House to Comm'e conference on Bucksport Minist. Fund Bill -] A message from the House by Mr Child their Clerk - Mr President - "The House of Representatives propose a committee of conference on the disagreement of the two Houses respecting the Bill to incorporate the Bucksport Ministerial Fund. - they have on their part appointed Messrs Pond White and Merrill and they request the concurrence of the Senate."

The Senate concurred in the proposition above made and appointed on their part Messrs Witham, Dennett and Ripley -. Ordered that the Secretary inform the House thereof

Ordered that Messrs Seaver and [blank space] be a committee to consider what allowance ought to be made for Clerk hire in the office
