enlist for 3 years & are very anxious to go into company [?]. Gen Butler [illegible] ployed [?] the Selectman to provide for them till they went into Camp. We got the men boarded for $2 each per week. It now amounts to more [inserted] than $300 (2 weeks last Saturday since organized) + it is a great deal of trouble to get so many boarded as we have so Many Factory hands in town that have to board Now we wish to have the Company go into Camp or disbanded for to have so Many [?] loafing around another Month will be almost unendurable. The Officers are not yet [illegible]
