[Petition committed] The petition of Gardner Brown and others of Bath relating to logs in Kennebec river - was read and committed to the Committee on Turnpikes, bridges & canals in concurrence with the House.

[“] The petition of Bennet Pike & Luther Richardson praying to be refunded duty paid buy them as attorneys - was read and committed to the Committee on new trials in concurrence with the House.

[“] The petitions of John Blanchard that part of Lot No. 83 be set off from town of Cumberland and annexed to North Yarmouth - and of Solomon Loring & others that they may be set off from town of Cumberland & annexed to the town of North Yarmouth - were severally read and committed to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns in concurrence with the House.

[Report of committee] Mr Green from the Committee on Incorporation of Towns reported that Walter M. Bryant and others have leave to withdraw their petition - read and accepted and sent down for concurrence, came up concurred.

[Returns of Banks] The following communication was received from the Secretary of State - to wit “Hon. the President of the Senate - Sir - Secy. office Jan. 19, 1822 In obedience to the order of the Senate of the 18th instant I transmit to you such returns of the several banks in this State, as have been received at this office, since the last session of the Legislature - I have the honor to be &c Arthur Ware.”
