Saturday March 10th 1821. Met according to adjournment. Journal of yesterday read by the Clerk.

[Leave of absence] Mr. Morrill of Monmouth & Mr. Atherton of Prospect have leave of absence for reminder of the Session.

[Committee alter terms of Court of Sessions in Oxford County] Ordered That Messrs Virgin, Read of Strong and Perley be a Committee to take into consideration the expediency of altering the time for holding the Court of Sessions in the County of Oxford, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise. Read and passed.

[Resolve - directing blank returns of votes to be furnished to towns &c &c] The engrossed Resolve authorizing the Clerk of the House of Representatives to procure Blanks for Returns of Governor, Senators & Representatives came from the Senate accompanied by the following Message "In Senate March 9th 1821 The Senate respectfully acquaint the House of Representatives that they have voted to amend the engrossed Resolve prescribing the forms of returns of votes for Governor & Senators and certificates of elections of Representatives by striking out the words "town or plantation as the case may be" and the words "Selectmen or Assessors as the case may be" and the words "or assessors as the case maybe" & the words "or plantation as the case may be" whenever the aforesaid expressions occur & request the concurrence of the House.] Read and nonconcurred - sent up.
