Sir We have recd a list descriptive of 22 men only that came with Morse & Strickland whereas 80 men came
It makes it extremely embarrassing[?] we cannot make pay rolls[?] for them we have no knowledge concerning them
Why was not a roll of the 80 men sent. have they been mustered in
yours[?] in great haste
