[Committee of the whole on location of seat of Government] On motion of Mr. Burnham, the Senate went into a Committee of the whole. Mr. Dennett in the chair, upon concurring with the House in referring to the next Legislature the Report of the Committee appointed by Resolve of the last Session, relative to the permanent location of the seat of Government; and after discussing the subject at conservable length; the Committee rose and reported to nonconcur the House in referring the subject of said report, and that the report be accepted.
