�Monday Sept 23d 1782 the Proprietors of a certain Tract of Land Laying in the Province of Maine holden under the Will of Bridget Phillips late of Boston deceased met According to adjournment at the Coffee House in Boston Present Hon'ble William Phillips Esq Moderator

Voted - That the Proprietors take under Consideration that part of the Land sett off by the Hon'ble Committee of the General Court to the Shapleighs Propriety which belongs to the Phillips - What Sum is necessary to be given by the Said Shapleighs Propriety - The Committee supposed there was about five thousand Acres ---

Voted that a Committee be appointed to agree + determine with the Hon'ble Benjamin Chadbourne Agent for the Shapleighs upon the Sum necessary to be given for said Land and that his Honor Thomas Cushing, Hon'ble Jeremiah Powell Esq + The Clerk be a Committee for this Purpose -- and that the Committee act their Own Judgement respecting this Matter ---

Voted that the Proprietors pay their Proportion of the Expence of the Hon'ble General Courts Committee going to the County of York to settle the right. Title and boundary Lines of the Several Claims --

Voted to adjourn to Morrow Evening to meet at the Coffee House in Boston at 7 OClock P.M. and said meeting is adjourned accordingly
