[Report of Committee on place for seat of Government] "authorizing and directing them to visit such towns as they might deem proper; and designate some central and suitable place at which the seat of Government may be permanently fire and established, to ascertain the terms upon which a convenient lot for the accommodation of the State can be obtained, and the time when it will be proper for the Legislature to meet at the place thus be designated," made their port, which was read and sent down.-
