Report on the petition of Warren Preston, granting leave for a Bill came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
Report on the petition of Asa Cole & others, referring the same to the next Legislature, came from the Senate accepted for concurrence and the House concurred.
Bill regulating the fees of Jurors, was read 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at ten oclock was assigned for a 3rd reading.
Resolve respecting the purchase of a standard of Weights & Measures was read and passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.
Resolve to aid the inhabitants of Fryeburg in rebuilding and maintaining the Canal Bridge, so called, across the Saco River, was read once, in new draft, and tomorrow at 20 oclock assigned for a second reading.
