were appointed a Committee to receive, sort and count the votes and having attended the duties assigned them reported that the whole number of votes given was 154 necessary to constitute an election -- 78 and that Joseph Howard had - 96 and he was declared, by the President constitutionally elected to supply the deficiency in the County of Oxford

[Hancock]

Messrs Williams, Scamman, Quinnam, Dunn and Bourne were appointed a Committee to receive, sort and count the votes for a Senator to supply the deficiency in the County of Hancock, and having attended to the duties assigned them reported that the whole number of votes given by the Convention was - 149 Necessary to constitute an election 75 and that John S. Kimball had 134 and he was declared duly elected

[Somerset]

Messrs Green, Dunn, Fessenden, Kavanagh and Clark were appointed a Committee to receive sort and count the votes for a Senator to supply the deficiency in the County of Somerset and having attended to the duties assigned them, reported that the whole number of votes given was 156 necessary to constitute an election 79 and that Obed WIlson had 86 and he was thereupon declared duly elected
