The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment,

[Joseph Howard takes his seat]

Joseph Howard Senator elect, appeared, was qualified and took his seat.

["Bill to incorporate the town of butler" taken from the files & referred.]

On motion by Mr Williams the "Bill to incorporate the town of Cutler" mislaid at the last session was taken from the files and referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns, Sent down for concurrence, came up concurred.

[Petitions referred.]

Petition of Henry W. Fuller and others, to be incorporated by the name of the "Kennebec Mill-dam association, was read and referred to the Committee who have under consideration that part of the Governor's message relating to Internal Improvements. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Petition of Inhabitants of Montville Plantation for incorporation by the name of town of Liberty. Petition of Ichabod Warren and others to be set off from Brownfield and annexed to the town of Denmark. Petition of the Selectmen of the Town of Gray that the line between said town and Windham may be established and Petition of Christopher Atkinson and others for a division of the Town of New-Vineyard were severally read and in concurrence with the House, referred to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns.
