Petitions of Elizabeth Hopkins & als members of Portland Female Charitable Society to be incorporated. - of Selectmen of Dover for a grant of Land - were read & referred to the committee on the incorporation of Parishes &c. Sent up for concurrence.

The committee on public Lands to whom was referred so much of the Governors Message as relates to depredations committed upon the public lands - reported a Resolve - the report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Resolve respecting depredations on the Public Lands - was read once and referred to Messrs Fessenden of Portland Vance of No 6. & Dane of Kennebunk.

Petition of Pearl Howe & als of No 12 Washington County that said plantation may be incorporated by the name of Whiting, was read & referred to the Committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.
