Ordered that Messrs Pike of Bridgeton, Hathaway of Bluehill and Walton of Friendship be a committee to enquire into the expediency of providing by law, that in all actions of trespass & actions on penal Statutes, where any two or more persons are joined as Defendents, such Defendents shall have the night to plead severally and to have a several & seperate trial, in the same manner as though sued severally, with the right to use the testimony of codependents in such trial - read & passed.
