[Bill Taken Dogs]

Bill additional to an Act authorizing, the town of Portland to assess a tax on the owners of Dogs, was read once tomorrow 11 oclock assigned for a second reading and committed to Messrs Balkam, Weston and Grover,

On motion by Mr. Herrick Ordered, that hereafter the afternoon session of the Senate shall commence at half past three oclock except on Saturday when there shall be no afternoon session.

[Bill - Probate Salaries]

Mr. Balkam from the committee to whom was referred sundry passed relating to Probate Salaries, in the Counties of Washington and Somerset, and also an order of January 25th, reported Bill additional respecting the Salaries of Judges and Registers of Probate and the same was read once and tomorrow 10 oclock assigned for a second reading.
