A message was received from the House of Representatives that they had on their part again chosen Richard T. Dunlap Major General of the fourth Division, and request the concurrence of the Senate

On motion by Mr. Holland the Senate assigned tomorrow at half past ten oclock, to ballot for the choice of a Major General of the fourth Division

Mr. Green from the Committee on incorporation of Towns, reported a reference to the next Legislature, on the several petitions of Amasa Taylor. and of the Town of Lewiston, Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Green from the same Committee on the petition of the Town of Albion, reported an order, that the Petitioners cause an attested copy of their petition and order thereon to be served on the Town Clerk of the Town of China sixty days at least before the first Wednesday of the first session of the next Legislature that all persons interested, may then appear and show cause, if any they have, why the prayer of said petition should not be granted. Read and accepted Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred

Mr. Stebbins from the Committee on the Judiciary on the several petitions of the Selectmen of Fairfield, of the Selectmen of New Portland, of the Selectmen of Richmond, and _ of Robert Gates and others, Inhabitants of No. 11. reported that the Petitioners have leave to withdraw
