Bill to set off John Gray Junr & John Starbird with their estates from the town of Woodstock and to annex the same to the town of Paris - was read a 1st & 2d time and Monday next at 11 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to incorporate certain persons for the purpose of building a Bridge in the town of Calais - was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill additional act concerning plates for printing Bank Notes, (reported by Committee on Banks & Banking) was read 1st & 2d time & Monday next assigned for a 3d reading.

Bill to cede to the U. States of America the jurisdiction of certain lands (reported as duly engrossed) was passed to be Enacted. Sent up for concurrence -

Resolves, establishing the times for holding the Courts of Probate in Penobscot County - authorizing the Land Agent of the State to expend a certain sum in building a bridge over Passadumkeag & other streams - were finally passed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill establishing the Salary of the Governor, was read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of John Perry to be refunded $5"00 paid by him as a duty on being qualified as a Justice of the Peace, was read & referred to Messrs Merrill of Brunswick, Frost of Topsham & McLain of Hope.

Petition of Abraham Osgood that the loss he sustained in building the State Arsenal may be made up to him, was read & referred to Messrs Poland of Standish, Richardson of Portland & Cram of New Sharon.

Petition of Samuel True & als of Lisbon for a division of said town, was read and referred to the committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence

Petition of Philip Page & als to be incorporated by the name of the Proprietors of the Passadunkeag Canal, was read & referred to the committee on Turnpikes bridges & Canals. Sent up for concurrence.
