Mr. Stebbins, from the same Committee, on the following orders viz, respecting an alteration of the Laws relating to trespass and the punishment of the same - respecting town ways, highways, surveyors and Harbour masters - reported that Legislation on said propositions is unnecessary Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred

Mr. Churchill from the special Committee on an order of the 10th of January reported " Bill extending the Jurisdiction of the Municipal Court, for the town of, Portland and of Justices of the Peace, which was read a first time and Monday next, 10 oclock assigned for a second reading
