The Board came to order pursuant to adjournment

Petition of Joel Hall and others, Stockholder in the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Corporation for an additional act prohibiting the Directors of said Corporation of said corporation from purchasing Real Estate in the neighborhood of the route of said contemplated Canal was read and in concurrence with the House, referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals

Mr. Pond from the Committee to whom was referred the Governors message of the 24th of January last communicating a copy of division and assignment recently made of a portion of the public Lands owned in common by this State and Massachusetts accompanied by maps representing the actual surveys of the several tracts and parcels included in said assignment reported that they had deported said Document and Maps in the office of the Secretary of State. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.

Mr. Greene from the Committee on Incorporation of Towns, on the Remonstrance of the town of Bucksport and Petitions of the towns of Surry and Trenton, on the subject of a new County west of Penobscot Bay and River and a half shire at the town of Ellsworth, reported that said papers be placed on the file with others on the same subject, on which a report had been made before these were referred. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred,
