Afternoon, Mr Williams from the Committee the Judiciary on order of January 26th concerning the expediency of further provision and alteration of the several acts to secure to the owners their property in Logs, Masts & Spars reported the Legislation is inexpedient. Read and accepted. Sent down for concurrence concurred

Order of the House of Representatives appointing. Messrs Bennocj, Wentworth and Bradford with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of making some alterations in the Laws providing, for the making and repairing highways & the appointment of highways surveyors, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, was read and passage refused.
