Order of the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Russell, Leach and Hubbard with such as the Senate may join to inquire into the expediency of so altering the existing Law requiring the superintending School committee in each town and plantation to visit the schools of each Dis- trict at the commencement and close thereof, as to dispense with their visiting said schools unless directed by the town or plantation to which they belong at the annual meeting after the choice of town or plantation officers with leave to report by bill or otherwise came up for concurrence and the Senate nonconcurred and referred the same to the com- -mittee on Literature +c . That the committee on the Judiciary be directed to in- quire into the expediency of providing by Law that the Treasurers of the several counties shall publish annually in some news- paper a detailed statement of all the receipts and expendi- -tures of their respective counties during the year next pre- -ceeding the time of such publication.
