Report. Resolve providing for the settlement of Acct. of Managers of C. & O. C. Lottery]

Mr Stebbins from the Committee reported in a new draft Resolve providing for the settlement of the Accounts of the Managers of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal Lottery and the same was read a second time and passage refused. Sent down for concurrence.

Order of the House of Representatives appointing Messrs Ames[?] Adams and Evans with such as the Senate may join a Committee to ascertain if any further agreement be necessary with the proper authority that the use and occupation of the building, whereby the State is at present accommodated, may be extended if necessary, to the meeting of the Legislature at Hallowell in 1828, with leave to report by Bill or otherwise, was read and passed in concurrence and Messrs Churchill and Williams were joined
