An order came from the Senate for concurrence directing the committee on the Judiciary to consider the expediency of amending the Laws relating to Highways so that proceedings against towns for deficiencies shall be by complaint or petition, and not by indictment – and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate directing that the accounts of the Warden of the States Prison be referred to the committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the State Prison for concurrence – and the House concurred.
