Met according to adjournment

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, appointing Messrs. Hilton & Parsons with such as the House may join a committee to receive the bond which may be offered to the Treasurer elect, and to settle with Mark Harris late Treasurer of the State, make a schedule of all the property in the Treasury, and transfer the same to Elias Thomas Treasurer elect and the House concurred and Messrs. Swan of Portland, Ruggles of Thomaston & Browne of Kennebunk were joined.

Report of the Committee to whom was referred the Annual Report of the Treasurer of the State, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House concurred.

Bill to incorporate the town of Lincoln was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at ten oclock assigned for a third reading.

Report on the petition of Aaron White, Jedediah Varney & als, John L. Hancok & als, Nathan Hill & als granting leave to withdraw came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Washington Remick, granting leave for a Bill came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House concurred.

Report on the petition of Nicholas Pierce, granting leave for a Resolve, came down accepted in Senate for concurrence and the House concurred.
