26 Petition of John Hopkins of Orland to be annexed to Bucksport. - of Jonathan Moody & al of Whitfield to be annexed to Windsor - of Charles Currier on same subject - of Edward Marston to have his lands annexed to Windsor - of Isaac Crane & all to be incorporated as a town by the name of Adams - of Moses Hodgon & als to be annexed to Otisfield. - of Thomas Kendall & als to be incorporated as a town by the name of Appleton - - of Clement Moody to be annexed to Bucksport - of Joseph Little & als of Brewer to be annexed to Eddington of John Crane & als to be embraced within the contemplated town of Adams - of William Patterson & als to be annexed to North Salem - also Remonstrances of Machiasport agst the petition of William Gardner & als - - of Brewer agst the petition of Joseph Little & als, were severally read & referred to the Committee on the incorporation of towns. Sent up for concurrence.

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send down to the House the papers in regard to a Bridge contemplated from Wiscasset to Edgeomb referred from the last to the present aLegislature.

Ordered that thursday the eighteenth instant at eleven oclock in the forenoon be assigned as the time when this House will come to the choice of a Senate to the Congress of the United States - read & passed.

Ordered that all petition that have been or maybe presented during the present session of the Legislature on the Subject of Surveying be referred to Messrs Bixby of Athens, Strickland of NewPortland & Pierson of Biddeford with such as the Senate may join. Sent up for concurrence.
