As nothing adds[?] more to the Splendor and appearance of the Troops, than exact Uniformity and Dress, The General Recommends it thus[?] early to the Field Officers newly Arranged to fix Upon a F[?], For the Regimental Cloathing [Clothing] of the Officers of their Respective Corps, (if not done already) Confining them to the Grand[?] F[?] Linings[?] & Buttons, already assigned to the States to which they belong, The General Sees with Concern the Difficulty the Officers Labour [Labor] Under in procuring Cloaths [Clothes], It is not therefore his Wish, that those already furnished should run themselves, to the Expense of new Uniforms, if they are not already Conformable[?]
