33 [1825] [Committee on addition to Representative District] on New Trials be instructed to enquire into the expediency of annexing Plantation No. 4 in the County of Oxford, to the Representative District composed of Mexico, Dixfield, Weld and Peru, with leave to report by Resolve or otherwise; came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

[Petitions referred] Petition of Avery Rawson and others for a revision of the Militia Law, and Petition of Samuel Fessenden in behalf of a Convention of Military Officers lately held in Portland, for a revision of the Militia Law, referred in the House to the Committee on the Militia and Military Affairs; came up for concurrence, were read and concurred.

[Resolve] Mr. Ripley from the Committee on Engrossed Bills, reported a Resolve relating to the allowance of the Massachusetts Claims now pending before the Congress of the United States, to be truly copied and it was passed.

[Petition referred] Petition of Nathan Weston Jr. and others, Trustes of the Cony Female Academy for Legislative aid, referred in the House to the Committee on Literature & came up for concurrence, was read and concurred.

[Communication from Treasurer of State] A Communication was received from the Treasurer of State, accompanied by his annual Report which was read and referred to Messrs. Scamman and Southwick with such as the House may join. Sent down for concurrence, was concurred and Messrs. Boutelle, Blaney, Cummings Hall and Robinson
