[1824] [Reports on Petitions & Remonstrances] this State, viz: Petition of George Stevens and others for a new County east of the Penobscot river; Ansel Lathrop and others, Selectmen of Searsmont; of Selectmen of Prospect; of Selectmen of Brooks; of Selectmen of Northport; of Hall Clements and others; of James Leach and others; of Inhabitants of Belfast; of Inhabitants of Campden; of Selectmen of Knox; of Inhabitants of Bowdoin; of Inhabitants of Lisbon; Remonstrance of the Selectmen of Surry; of Joseph Jellison and others; of Jabez Simpson & others; of William Abbot and others; and that the Committee on the Incorporation of Towns be discharged from any further consideration of the subject of said Petitions and Remonstrances. Sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred as to discharging the Committee on Towns, and nonconcurred as to the reference.

[Report on Petition] Mr. Wheeler from the Committee on the Petition of John Gordon and others, reported that the Petitioners cause an attested copy of their Petition with this order thereon to be served on Joshua Webb, Administrator, Susanna Partridge, Samuel D. Pike, George Small, Isaac Farnsworth, Miss Susanna Webb and Henry Babb, six days at least before the first Monday of February next. Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence. Came up concurred.
