44 [1825 January 12] the acts relating to School Districts; and Petition of David Shaw and others to have Jurors fees raised; and they were severally read and concurred.

[Petitions referred] The following Petitions and Remonstrances referred in the House to the Committee on Incorporation of Towns, came up for concurrence, viz; Petition of Richard Pomeroy and others of New Vineyard, to be set off from said town and annexed to New Portland; Petition of Abijah Crane and others of No. 12, that said Plantation be incorporated by the name of Orangetown; Petition of Abraham Lord and others to be set off from Brownfield and annexed to Denmark; Petition of Barnabas Jackson and others of No. 7, 7th Range, in Somerset county, to be incorporated. Petition of John Patten and others to be set off from Steuben and annexed to Cherryfield; Petition of David C. Burr and others, Committee of Litchfield, to alter the dividing line between said town and Hallowell; Petition of John Goodridge and others of Rome, to be annexed to Belgrade. Petition of John Monson and others, of Plantation No. 12 to be incorporated into a town; Petition of Reuben Tourtlett and others of Township No. 1, to be incorporated into a Plantation; Petition of James Willis and others of Plantation No. 5 to be incorporated into a town
