Report on an order of 10th inst as to the expediency of prohibiting in certain cases any person from conveying property to Literary Institutions, that Legislation is inexpedient, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate.

Resolve in relation to the unexpended balances of certain appropriations, was read & accepted in concurrence with the Senate

Bill respecting gifts, grants & bequests to Religious & other Societies laid on the table by Mr Smith of Nobleboro, was read first & second time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.
