On motion by Mr Dunlap; Ordered, that the Rules and Orders of the last Senate be adopted for the government of the present, until others shall be adopted.

[Motion to elect a Chaplain]

On motion by Mr Phelps; ordered, that tomorrow eleven o'clock in the forenoon be assigned as the time at which the Senate will come to the choice of a Chaplain; and that in the mean time a list of nominations be prepared by the Secretary pro tem.
