The committee appointed to report the names of such members as appear to be duly elected with the number of the seats they respectively occupy made their report, which being amended in several instances, was accepted as amended.

Ordered in concurrence with the Senate that the Secretary of State notify Joseph Shaw Esquire of Thorndike in the District of Hancock and John Balkam Esqiure of Robbingston in the District of Washington, that they have severally been elected members of the Senate of this State, this day by a Convention of both branches of the Legislature & request their immediate attendance at the Senate Board.

Ordered that a message be sent to the Senate, to inform them that the House have provided by its Rules & orders for the appointment of the following joint standing committees, to wit- On the Judiciary On State Lands To consist of five members each on the part of the House On Incorporation of Towns On Canals, Turnpikes & Bridges On incorporation of Parishes & other religious Societies On Interior fisheries On Manufactures On Banks & Banking On Military Affairs On applications from sick & wounded Soldiers.
