On motion of Mr. McDonald, Ordered that when the Senate do adjourn, they adjourn to 3 oclock P.M.-

Bill to incorporate the Portland Rifle Corps was read once and committed, and 3 oclock P.M. assigned for a 2d reading.-

[Resolve Bill]

Resolve in favor of the town of New Castle, and Bill additional respecting the Inspection of Beef, Pork &c were read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed : sent down for concurrence.-

[Reports on Petitions]

Mr. Smith from the committee on petition of the town of Gray, reported an order of notice thereon : Read, and the acceptance thereof refused : sent down for concurrence.-

Mr. Wheeler from the committee on petition of Aaron Porter, reported that he have leave to withdraw his petition : Read, accepted and sent down for concurrence : - concurred.-
