95. Bill - to incorporate the Trustees of the Bath Public Library, was read a 1st & 2nd time and tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3rd reading.

Bill - to change the name of North Hill, came from the Senate amended at A for concurrence - and the House concurred & passed the Bill to be engrossed as amended. -

Resolve - on the memorial of Jonathan Elliot & the communication of H. C. Carey & J. Lee, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

Resolve in favor of Herbert Savage, was read a second time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate

A message was received from the Senate by Mr Hutchinson their Secretary, informing the House that the Senate on their part have elected Brig. Gen. William Waterman, Major General of the first division of the Militia of this State in concurrence with the House.

Messrs Osgood & Farrar have leave of absence after tomorrow during the next week -

Petition and Statement of George W Webster in relation to the conduct of the Passamaquoddy Bank, was read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary in concurrence with the Senate.

Petition of Joseph Treat & als for aid to repair the road between Sunkhaze and Madanawcook - was read & referred to the committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the Penobscot & its tributaries. Sent up for concurrence.
