Bill to incorporate the Sebago Pond Steam Navigation Company, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed, yeas 7, nays 6 - sent down for concurrence.-

[Bills] Mr. Steele from the committee to whom was referred the Bill to incorporate the Saco and Ossipee Log navigation Company, reported that the same ought not to pass; and the Bill was referred to the next Legislature.-

[Bills enacted] Mr. Witham from the committee on engrossed Bills reported the following to be truly copied, viz.- Bill to change the names of sundry persons, Bill establishing the salary of the Secretary of State, Bill additional concerning foreign attachment, and Bill to apportion and assess on this State a tax of $ 45,120"57; and they were severally passed to be enacted : also

[Resolves] Resolve providing for a revision of the Fee Bill, and it was passed.-

Resolve for the payment of Engrossing Clerks and other purpose, was read a 2d time and passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft : sent down for concurrence : concurred.-

[Bill] Mr. Chandler from the committee of conference on the Bill additional to the act to organize, govern and discipline the Militia, reported that the Senate adhere to their vote, whereby they nonconcurred the House in their amendment by striking out the fifth section; and that they recede from their vote whereby they non-concurred the House in striking out the sixth section of said Bill; which report was read and accepted, and the Bill was passed to be engrossed as thus amended
