Bill to incorporate the Central Bank, was read a second time Tuesday next at ten oclock assigned for a third reading

Resolve providing for Clerk hire in the office of the Adjutant & Quarter Master General - was read once and Tuesday next at ten oclock assigned for a second reading.

Resolve in favor of Thomas N Totman & Sylvester G Spaulding was read a second time & passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to authorize the Selectmen of Portland & Bath to appoint an additional number of Enginemen, was read a third time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Bill authorizing the South School District in the town of Eastport to borrow money was read a third time & passed to be engrossed as taken into a new draft. Sent up for concurrence.

Resolve making an appropriation for two carriages for the use of the artillery reported by a committee of this House was read twice & ordered to lie on the table.

Resolve to encourage & aid in the publication of a statistical view & map of the State, was reported in a new draft which was adopted, read a third time & passed to be engrossed as in the new draft. Sent up for concurrence

Bill providing for the promotion of Education, was called up and the new draft of the Senate adopted, & then the Bill ordered to lie upon the table until Tuesday next at ten oclock.
